David Kracht (David Moreau) ist ein echtes „Berliner Kind“. Geboren und aufgewachsen in Friedrichshain fand er schon früh den Weg zur elektronischen Musik. Mitte der 90er wurde die Club-Szene rund um Berlin sein zweites Zuhause. E-Werk, Tresor und die Insel der Jugend mit ihren treibenden Rhythmen, der Dunkelheit und Hitze sind prägend für seinen Style in dieser Zeit.
Die Sets des Berliners, eine hypnotische Mischung aus treibenden Beats und melodiösen Elementen mit Ecken und Kanten, bringen das Publikum regelmäßig zum Schwitzen. Fest verankert im Techno nutz er die Kraft aus gut gewählten Tracks von Gestern, Heute und Morgen, um die Tanzflächen der Clubs zu füllen. Mit seiner Leidenschaft für Basslines & Drums bei der Plattenwahl, bringt David seine Zuhörer auf den Tanzflächen der Venues in Bewegung. Ein Auge immer auf dem Publikum, um die Energie des Momentes für den Mix zu nutzen, ist die DJ-Kanzel längst seine Heimat geworden.
David hat vor einigen Jahren angefangen auch seinen eigenen Stil in Noten und Tönen auszudrücken. Erste Gehversuche hat er noch an minimalem Equipment in der heimischen Küche unternommen und den ersten Hörwilligen präsentiert. Dort ist auch der Track für die Zug der Liebe Compilation 2020 „Stay @ Home“ auf NeuHain Rec. entstanden, der nach heutigem Wissen und der jetzigen Arbeitsweise deutlich anders geklungen hätte. Jetzt hat David seinen Workflow und die Werkzeuge optimiert und deutlich besser im Griff, was man an den aktuellen Produktionen hören kann.

David Kracht (David Moreau) is a real „Berlin kid“. Born and raised in Friedrichshain, he found his way to electronic music early on. In the mid-90s, the club scene around Berlin became his second home. E-Werk, Tresor and the Isle of Youth with their driving rhythms, darkness and heat are formative for his style during this time.
The sets of the Berliner, a hypnotic mixture of driving beats and melodic elements with rough edges, regularly make the audience sweat. Firmly anchored in techno, he uses the power of well-chosen tracks from yesterday, today and tomorrow to fill the dancefloors of the clubs. With his passion for basslines & drums in his choice of records, David gets his audience moving on the dance floors of the venues. One eye always on the audience to harness the energy of the moment for the mix, the DJ booth has long become his home.
David started to express his own style in notes and sounds a few years ago. He took his first steps with minimal equipment in his kitchen at home and presented it to the first listeners. This is also where the track for the Zug der Liebe compilation 2020 „Stay @ Home“ on NeuHain Rec. was created, which would have sounded significantly different according to today’s knowledge and the current way of working. Now David has optimized his workflow and tools and has a much better grip, which can be heard on the current productions.
