Biografie (english below)
Awiy Disco, alias Rene Gottwald, fühlte sich schon immer zur elektronischen Musik hingezogen. In den Neunziger Jahren kaufte er sich vom Lehrlingsgeld seine Technics Plattenspieler. Bei diversen Auftritten wurden dem Publikum dann die 90er Techno Sounds präsentiert.
Schon früh begann er mit der Komposition eigener Tracks. Anfangs wurden die musikalischen Ideen hauptsächlich mit Hardware Synthesizern und einem Amiga 500 umgesetzt. Dank Geräten, wie E-MU Sampler, Clavia Nord Lead und der BassStation konnten erste Ideen umgesetzt werden. Im weiteren Verlauf hielt dann auch der PC in die Produktionen Einzug. Die Stilrichtungen Deep House und Tech House haben sich dann über die Jahre verfestigt. Radioplays, Vinyl und CD Produktionen und Auftritte mit diversen Projekten folgten. Einen Eindruck vom jetzigen Sound bekommt man unmittelbar beim Hören der ersten Awiy Disco Single „Time“.
Seine Passion ist das Finden neuer Klänge und die Einbindung in spannende Arrangments. Auch ist die Zusammenarbeit mit anderen Djs und Projekten immer ganz oben auf der Agenda. Er lebt für groovende und inspirierende neue Musik. Mit fetten Beats und groovigen Bässen, nimmt Awiy Disco seine Fans und Hörer mit auf eine musikalische Reise, bei der der Alltag in Vergessenheit gerät.

Awiy Disco, aka Rene Gottwald, has always been attracted to electronic music. In the nineties he bought his Technics turntables from his apprentice money. At various gigs, the 90s techno sounds were then presented to the audience.
Early on he started composing his own tracks. In the beginning the musical ideas were mainly realized with hardware synthesizers and an Amiga 500. Thanks to devices like E-MU Sampler, Clavia Nord Lead and the BassStation first ideas could be realized. In the further course, the PC also found its way into the productions. The styles Deep House and Tech House have solidified over the years. Radio plays, vinyl and CD productions and gigs with various projects followed. You can get an impression of the current sound immediately by listening to the first Awiy Disco single „Time“.
His passion is finding new sounds and integrating them into exciting arrangements. Also, collaborating with other Djs and projects is always on top of his agenda. He lives for grooving and inspiring new music. With fat beats and groovy bass, Awiy Disco takes his fans and listeners on a musical journey where everyday life is forgotten.
