MARIE WILHELMINE ANDERS alias MOMENTMUSIK ist eine Wanderin der Musik.
Seit frühester Kindheit musikalisch und instrumental ausgebildet, erhielt sie ihre erste technische Ausbildung als Tontechnikerin beim DDR-Fernsehen. Sie spielte Keyboards in einer Punkband in der Ostberliner Undergroundszene, machte Field Recordings und Klanginstallationen, studierte klassische Komposition an der Universität der Künste Berlin und absolvierte ein Studium an der Musikhochschule Stuttgart. Dort war sie aktiver Teil der experimentellen Improvisationsszene und spielte sowohl Klavier als auch ein Elektronikset. Sie gründete zwei Ensembles und initiierte und leitete „momentmusik“ – eine Konzertreihe für experimentelle und improvisierte Musik, die die Verbindung zwischen ihren Ensembles und der nationalen und internationalen Szene herstellte.
Im Jahr 2005 beendete sie ihre Konzerttätigkeit, zog zurück nach Berlin und begann, ihre Musik mit Cubase zu produzieren und unter dem Pseudonym Marie Wilhelmine Anders zu veröffentlichen. Nachdem sie die Gedichte des schottischen Dichters R.L.Stevenson entdeckt hatte, begann sie, ihre neue elektronische Musiksprache zu entwickeln, die seine Verse aufgreift und darauf aufbaut. Maries konzeptionelles Denken und ihr Handwerk als moderne klassische Komponistin ermöglichen es ihr, seine Texte kongenial in eine moderne elektronische Sprache zu übersetzen, die von Techno, Electronica und Ambient-Musik beeinflusst ist. Zwischen 2018 und 2021 hat sie 4 Alben veröffentlicht, die sich auf Stevensons Werk beziehen (darunter ein Remix-Album ihrer Tracks). Als Produzentin arbeitet Marie gerne allein und unabhängig. Auch als Remixerin ist sie immer gefragter.
Ihre beste Freundin schreibt: „Marie arbeitet sich aus allen Beschränkungen heraus und experimentiert mit Stilen und Musikrichtungen. Ich bin beeindruckt von ihrer Genauigkeit in allem, was sie tut. Sie ist der heimliche Phönix unter meinen Freunden, der sich jedes Mal, nachdem er sich in Asche verwandelt hat, ein neues und noch prächtigeres Federkleid zulegt. Ich habe große Bewunderung für ihre kompromisslose Kunstfertigkeit. Man spricht vom Phönix als einem ewig jugendlichen Vogel. Und er kann fliegen.“

MARIE WILHELMINE ANDERS aka MOMENTMUSIK is a wanderer in music.
Musically and instrumentally trained since her earliest childhood, she received her first technical training as a sound engineer at GDR television. She played keyboards in a punk band in the East Berlin underground music scene, created field recordings and sound installations, studied classical composition at the University Of The Arts Berlin and graduated at the Musikhochschule Stuttgart. There she was an active part of the experimental improvisational scene playing piano as well as a set of electronics. She founded two ensembles and initiated and directed “momentmusik“ — a concert series for experimental and improvised music which established the connection between her ensembles and the national and international scenes.
In 2005 she ended her concert activity, moved back to Berlin and began producing her music using Cubase and publishing it under the pseudonym Marie Wilhelmine Anders. After discovering the poems of the Scottish poet R.L.Stevenson, she began to develop her new electronic musical language incorporating and building upon his verses. Marie’s conceptual thinking and her craft as a modern classical composer allow her to congenially translate his lyrics into a modern electronic language, influenced by techno, electronica and ambient music. Between 2018 and 2021 she released 4 albums which referred to Stevenson’s work (including a remix album of her tracks). As a producer, Marie likes to work alone and independently. She is also increasingly in demand as a remixer.
Her best friend writes: „Marie works her way out of all restrictions and experiments with styles and musical directions. I am impressed by her accuracy in everything she does. She is the secret Phoenix among my friends, who every time after it has turned to ashes, puts on a new and even more splendid plumage. I have great admiration for her uncompromising artistry. One speaks of the Phoenix as an eternally youthful bird. And he can fly.”
